Methacrylamide

Combinations of methacrylamide and acetal-modified methacrylamides used as functional monomers are recommended for heat activated self-crosslinking resins. Methacrylamide alone can be used as a high Tg, polar co-monomer, for improving solvent resistance and cohesion. In a special application, methacrylamide can be grafted onto natural fibers (silk weighting).
