Aminofunctional Monomers

Predominantly used in their quaternized form, these products provide water-soluble polymers with ionic groups. Combining these products with either hydrophilic or hydrophobic co-monomers results in a wide variation of the physical and solubility properties of these polymers. The flocculation of particles carrying opposite charges or a pronounced associative effect (e.g. cationic thickeners) can be achieved with polymers containing these monomers.
